Aria Dance Company’s “Waking” explores our spirit, thoughts and aspirations in daily life and tries to express them through the movement of dance. This year the Company, along with other artists, will engage the audience with images of strength and complexity as well as the art of entertainment. The repertoire is diverse with strong foundations in classical training with the fusion of contemporary work. At this 6th year of reaching out to the community, Christina Vandenberg-Suju, Aria’s Artistic Director, hopes to bring an introspective as well as entertaining evening to our audience. “Waking” includes contributions from talented guest performers, choreographers and Company members. |
